Argentina and the United States strengthen their technical cooperation in agricultural and crop production statistics

The Office of the US Embassy Agricultural Affairs in Buenos Aires and the Argentinean Ministry of Agro Industry, in cooperation with NASS / USDA organized a meeting to define technical exchange strategy in order to keep the appropriate methodology to estimate domestic crop production aligned to government goal to have available reliable information for production.

US Embassy Agricultural Affairs in Buenos Aires highlighted this effort to share collaborative activities between the US and Argentina to strengthen technical data collection and analysis as both countries which play a leading role in the world market experts

During a week, technicians from NASS develop a series of activities including a visit to the offices of the Ministry in the towns of Junin and 25 de Mayo in the province of Buenos Aires that finished with the presentation from NASS of preliminary findings and agreement for the development of future joint actions.
