Sharda Cropchem to invest Rs 5 crore in Axis Crop Science

Sharda Cropchem has received an approval to invest additional funds in its wholly owned subsidiary company ‘Axis Crop Science’ for a sum not exceeding Rs 5 crore in one or more tranches. The board of directors at its meeting held on August 04, 2016 has approved for the same.
 

Sharda Cropchem is a crop protection chemical company engaged in the marketing and distribution of a wide range of formulations and generic active ingredients globally. For the fiscal year of 2015-16, Sharda posted a 15% sales increase to Rs 12.2 billion, while net profit up by 42% to Rs 1,750 million.
