Brazil's grain exporters to China are expected to register by Aug. 12 at the Federal Superintendence of Agriculture in the state where the farmer is based, in line with Decree 177/2016 of the General Administration of Quality, Inspection, and Quarantine Supervision, an agency of the Chinese government.
All those who intend to export and sell goods to China should register. To complete the registration, exporters will have to present documents from the technicians responsible for the production process.
The forms are available for download from the website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply (Mapa). Establishments that will be considered grain exporters may be storage suppliers, processors, associations, institutes, or cooperatives.
Trade and export dealerships should also be registered and should present a declaration of commitment to acquiring grain for previously registered exporters.
