Syngenta and Crinigan have signed a cooperation agreement to combine their technologies to bring higher wheat yields to Argentina. Under the agreement, Crinigan will offer its customers the new Pack Premium Bio Power Trigo, which combines Crinigan Trigo, fostering growth and phosphorus solubility, with the seed treatment capacity of seed fungicide Dividend Extra from Syngenta.
According to tests by agronomist Gustavo Ferraris of Argentina’s National Institute of Agricultural Technology in Pergamino, the synergy of the integrated products in Pack Premium Bio Power Trigo has allowed farmers to produce differences in yields of over 500 kilograms per hectare.
The combination of products into a single item constitute a significant benefit to producers, guaranteeing complete compatibility as it maximizes the technologies' power.
"The agreement is part of our strategy to seek alliances with local companies that complement the technologies we use, as happened in this case, with the biological products of Crinigan complementing the seed treatment of Syngenta,” noted Carlos Becco, director of the Multipliers Commercial Unit and Seedcare.
"Thanks to this agreement with Syngenta, we can give our customers an integral solution that will allow them to maximize wheat yields,” explained Lucas Bustillo, commercial manager of Crinigan S.A.
Crinigan is an Argentinean company that has pioneered in biotechnology at the international level, making growth supplements for grasses and legumes through multiparty inoculation procedures. For over 25 years, Crinigan has developed products such as the exclusive triple inoculum -- including nitrogen-fixing bacteria, mycorrhizal fungi, and mycobionts -- to produce a significant increase in crop yields for soybeans, wheat, corn, and sunflowers. The use of inoculants is a phytosanitary measure and contributes to the preservation of the environment.
