Dow AgroSciences announced on recently the launch of the super-young hybrid corn 2A401PW. According to the manufacturer, the product “associates innovation with the best biotechnology, presenting super-precocity, plant health and high yields”.
According to Dow AgroSciences, 2A401PW is “ideal for integration with longer cycle hybrids that helps to reduce the risks of water stress, the product also brings harvest staggering”.
Relying on the PowerCore biotechnology, the hybrid has three insecticide proteins in the control of major corn caterpillars. It yet has two proteins that bring tolerance to glyphosate and ammonium glufosinate, resulting in a better management of weeds as well as the application of nitrogen fertilizers.
