In 2015, Brazil imported 18,724 tons of the Mancozeb active ingredient, according to data from the portal Global Agrochemicals. December was the month with greater volume of nearly 9,030 tons of the product.
The main origin country was India, responsible for nearly 39% (approximately 7,316 tons) of the total imported by Brazil. The following is Colombia with 5,831 tons (nearly 15%).
In 2016, so far, 19,438 tons were imported, which already exceeds by almost 4% to the whole of the previous year. In the same period of 2015, 1,093 tons were imported, more than 17 times less. India remains as the largest supplier of this material in 2016 with 50% of the volume imported from it.
