Australia clears BASF's Siesta Granular Ant Bait

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority(APVMA) has approved BASF's Siesta Granular Ant Bait (0.63 g/kg metaflumizone), for control of nuisance ant species such as coastal brown ant, black ant and red imported fire ant in and around gardens, golf courses, industrial areas, lawns, parks, turf, sports grounds and other non-crop land and non-food bearing nursery stock.
