Canada approves propoxycarbazone-sodium herbicide and fenpyroximate insecticide

The Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA)has proposed to grant full registration for the sale and use of Bayer’s Propoxycarbazone-sodium Technical Herbicide and MKH 6561 70WG Herbicide, containing the technical grade active ingredient propoxycarbazone-sodium, for control or suppression of the grassy weeds downy brome and Japanese brome, and specific broadleaf weeds in winter wheat in western Canada.
Meanwhile, the agency also announced to grant full registration for the sale and use of Japanese company NihonNohyaku's Fenpyroximate Technical and Fenpyroximate 5SC Miticide/Insecticide containing the technical grade active ingredient fenpyroximate, for control of spider mites, broad mite and cyclamen mite and suppression of whiteflies on indoor ornamental plants and greenhouse vegetable crops.
