ORO AGRI International Ltd has expanded its European team with the appointment of Mr Jack Ingle as Regional Business Development Manager.
Reporting to General Manager Europe, Carol Pullen, Jack’s primary responsibilities will be in the UK and Ireland although he may be called on to assist in other countries serviced by the ORO AGRI European office including; Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. “Jack has a wealth of knowledge and experience with our products,” explains Carol. “His experience is the most valuable asset which is something that money cannot buy. His key role will be to help promote solutions to growers, provide training, coordinate with new distributors in areas where we do not currently have a presence and assist in new product development.”
Jack has worked in the plant nutrition industry for around 30 years. For the past 11 years he has worked for ORO AGRI in South Africa and other Sub Saharan African countries and was the company’s first appointed salesman.
A practical engineer, having a degree in Chemical Engineering, Jack enjoys being “hands on” and engaging with farmers. “During my time working for ORO AGRI in Africa I helped develop WETCIT as a wetter/spreader/penetrant to use with conventional agrochemicals to increase efficacy and product effectiveness.” says Jack. “I was also involved in introducing a number of innovative application techniques for our products. A solution oriented profile is always key. My aim is to educate farmers about the ORO AGRI product range. Advising them on the best way to use our products to gain the best results both in terms of highest yield and resulting cost benefits. Although most of my work has been in orchard crops I also have experience in maize, vegetables, potatoes, tomatoes and greenhouse crops.”
