DuPont announces leadership change in India

DuPont recently announced a change to its top leadership position in South Asia as the company continues to drive growth in this region.
Ramkrishna (Ram) Mudholkar has been appointed President for DuPont South Asia, in addition to his current role of Regional Business Director, DuPontCrop Protection, the company's largest business unit in India. Balvinder Singh Kalsi, DuPont South Asia's current President, will retire after more than 24 years of distinguished service to the organization. Under his leadership, DuPont India has emerged as one of the fastest growing strategic markets for DuPont, globally. The company's operations in India witnessed rapid growth with the setting up of the DuPont Knowledge Center and the DuPont Services Center at Hyderabad in 2008 coupled with expansion of its direct presence into the newer markets of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Ram has been with DuPont India since 1995, holding various leadership positions and brings in a wealth of experience to this role. He has worked for over 31 years in the agricultural input industry that includes crop protection chemicals and seeds. As a business director, he once led the crop protection business across ASEAN and South Asia as well as managed DuPont's Soy protein business in South Asia for three years. Ram also spent two years during 1998-2000 at the DuPont headquarters in Delaware, US working on international projects. Prior to joining DuPont, he worked for another leading multinational, Hoechst AgrEvo India for 11 years and served in different roles in the agriculture sector.
