Mérieux NutriSciences appoints Eugenio Luporini Neto as managing director in South America

Eugenio Luporini Neto has recently been appointed as the new managing director of Mérieux NutriSciences in South America, and he will be based in Piracicaba, São Paulo state, the company's headquarters in South America.
Luporini holds a Master of Business Administration from Ibmec (InstitutoBrasileiro de Mercado de Capitais) and a bachelor degree from FundaçãoGetúlio Vargas.
He brings near 20 years of experience having worked in the chemical, pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries. He started his career in Procter & Gamble then worked at Pfizer before joining BASF in 2006.
Most recently he worked as Vice-President of Marketing for BASF Crop Protection Division, based out of North Carolina (USA), where he developed the marketing and strategic planning for the USA and Canada for this Business Unit.
Expansion
Recently, the company acquired Allabor LaboratoriosLtda (“Allabor”) in Brazil and LabserLaboratorio de Analisis y de ServiciosavanzadosLimitada (“Labser”) in Chile, strengthening its food safety leadership in South America. With these new acquisitions, Mérieux NutriSciences expands into Chile and has now 21 laboratories in South America strengthening its position of major network of private analytical laboratories on the continent.

With know-how and tradition of 25 years in the market in the analytical services area required by regulatory agencies for registration of products and chemicals, Bioagri conquered its space in conducting studies in the areas: chemical, physical-chemical, ecotox, toxicology and genotoxicity, whose goal is to test substances to obtain data on its properties and / or its safety with respect to human health and the environment.
