DuPont Crop Protection introduces this month the new generation of the label DuPont™ Izon®, which will be applied to the top brand agrochemicals in Brazil. The measure aims to increase the protection of users and the distribution channels against alterations or fake products, recurring practices in Brazil that have caused significant losses in the farm business.
Besides investing on the development of the third generation of the label, the company will extend the use of the technology to more items from its product lines. A short time ago, the label came with the insecticides Altacor® and Premio®. Now, the insecticides Avatar® and Benevia® and the seed treatment Dermacor® will also be sold with the holographic labels on the packages.
The new label DuPont™ Izon® passed through changes as the including of the new identity of the company and holographic circles with different authenticity, according to the product number. There is a 2D reading code (on hard packages) or alphanumeric (on flexible packages). The company clarifies that the packages with the previous version of the label will stay at the market until the stocks end.
