SynTech’s new acquisition enhances its UK operation
Date:10-05-2015
SynTech Research has announced the acquisition of Suffolk & Cambridge Crop Station (SACCS). It will move all of its field operations to a new fixed site field station at Old Hall Farm, Pakenham, Suffolk.
"This acquisition will significantly enhance our UK operation, alongside our existing, largely continental European, GEP and GLP field trials capability," explains Jerry Calloway, SynTech's UK Manager. "SynTech UK will focus on seed treatment, disease control and bio-stimulant efficacy trials, and GLP residue studies, using the laboratory and glasshouse facilities at the site."
Nicholas Burton, the previous owner of SACCS, joins SynTech UK to support further development of the site, which will be fully operational for the 2015 Autumn programme. Small plot herbicide screens and irrigated cereal foliar disease trials have already been established.
