SynTech Research has acquired the business of Suffolk & Cambridge Crop Station (SACCS), and will move its field operations base to a new fixed site Field Station at Old Hall Farm, Pakenham, Suffolk. “This will significantly enhance our UK operation, alongside our existing, largely continental European GEP and GLP field trials capability,” Jerry Calloway, SynTech’s UK Manager. “SynTech UK will focus on seed treatment, disease control and bio-stimulant efficacy trials and GLP residue studies, using the sites’ laboratory and glasshouse facilities”.
Nicholas Burton, previously owner of SACCS, joins SynTech to support further development of the site, which will be fully operational for the 2015 Autumn program; small plot herbicide screens and irrigated cereal foliar disease trials have already been established.
