U.S. EPA to approve new active ingredient Cuprous Iodide

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to register a new end-use product of Cupron’s Cuprous Iodide, containing active ingredient cuprous iodide.
Cuprous iodide is an inorganic compound proposed to be formulated into an end-use product for material preservation of fibers; floor coverings; plastics, coatings, films, and laminates; and adhesives and sealants to control the growth of algae, mold, mildew, fungi and bacteria which cause unpleasant odors, discoloration, staining, deterioration, or corrosion.
