FMC Brazil appointed Cesar Rojas as the new general director

FMC Brazil recently appointed agronomist Cesar Rojas as the new general director. With rich expertise of marketing and management, Rojas has been the director of some major companies in agrochemical industry in the country since 1998. In 2004, he assumed the leadership in Latin America of Cheminova - which was recently acquired by FMC.
According to the company, the challenge of the new general director of Brazil will be" to expand and consolidate the business which is supported by different molecules, focusing on key crops" for the Brazilian agriculture. Therefore, the executive will rely on "a motivated organization to meet effectively its customers, which are the most important value for FMC".
"Being in front of one of the main business of one leading agrochemical companies in the world and acting strategically in one of the most important areas is a big challenge that I assume within the company. I'm optimistic with this opportunity because I want to be part of the history of evolution of FMC," highlights Rojas.
The president of FMC Corporation Latin American, Antonio Carlos Zem, also commented on the arrival of the new staff member. "It is always very enriching and rewarding to rely on trained and experienced people in this so important segment for Brazil and the world. We have big challenges ahead to expand the business after the acquisition of Cheminova."
