Incotec India’s Seed Testing Laboratory accredited

The Seed Testing Laboratory of Incotec India Pvt. Ltd has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board For Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL – an autonomous body under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India). INCOTEC India is one of the first facilities of its kind to gain this accreditation. The accreditation is for biological testing, germination testing, vigor indexing, physical purity testing, moisture percentage testing, hybrid genetic purity testing and homogeneity testing.

 

The laboratory has been serving the seed industries of South East Asia since 2007, providing timely, accurate and reliable quality testing of all the parameters listed above. The laboratory is equipped with all the latest tools and is divided in two units: germination lab and analytical lab. Both these units contribute to determining the quality parameters encountered by the seed industry.

 

The laboratory has been routinely engaged in standardization and validation of seed testing methods in accordance with ISTA rules and the accredited standards based on ISO 17025.
