Brazil's Sindiveg elects new board

Brazil's National Union of the Crop Protection Products Industry (Sindiveg) elected its new president, Welles Clovis Pascoal, who is the current commercial director of DowAgroSciences. Valdemar Luis Fischer, president of Nufarm Latin America, was elected as vice-president.
The new board also has Valentim Giampani from Syngenta as second vice-president, and Pedro Augusto de Oliveira Lopes from Bayer as administrative director, and as financial André Gustavo de Oliveira from Basf assumed the position.
The surrogates of the board are João Conrado Havryluk ( Iharabras Indústrias Químicas S.A.), Andrey Filguera G. Araujo (Adama Brasil S.A.), Luis Roberto Graça Favoretto (Monsanto Brasil S.A), José Donizeti Vilhena (DuPont do Brasil S.A.), and Maria de Lourdes S. Fustaino (FMC Química do Brasil Ltda).
The members of the "Fiscal Council" are Milton Ossamu Hiramoto (Iharabras Indústrias Químicas S.A), Yuji Hamada (Arysta Lifescience do Brasil Indústria Química e Agropecuária Ltda.), and Jurandir Paccini Neto (Ouro Fino Química Ltda). Their surrogates are Rosemeire Merlo (Sipcam Nichino Brasil S.A.), Thomas Britze (Helm do Brasil Mercantil Ltda.), and Ronaldo Pereira (Rotam do Brasil Agroquímica e Produtos Agrícolas Ltda).
