Canada to clear BASF's Caramba fungicide
Date:04-27-2015
The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has proposed full registration for the sale and use of BASF's Metconazole Technical Fungicide and end-use product Caramba Fungicide(90 g/L metconazole EC), for use on cereals, soybeans and sugar beets to control or to suppress certain foliar fungal diseases. The public comments will be closed on June 20, 2015.
Metconazole is a triazole fungicide (Group 3) that inhibits sterol biosynthesis.
