Australia to approve Bayer's fluopyram fungicide

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed the approval of Bayer CropScience's fungicide,fluopyram, as a new active ingredient. The agency also proposed the approval of the end-use product Luna Privilege fungicide for the control of botrytis bunch rot and powdery mildew in grapes for dried fruit production and table grapes. APVMA is seeking public comments until May 4, 2015.
