Date:03-20-2015
DuPont Pioner and DuPont Crop Protection have introduced at a recent farm show in southern Brazil, innovations and technologies which are specifically developed for the soybean and corn crops.
One of the DuPont Crop Protection's highlights are Avatar®, an insecticide, and Dermacor®, a seed treatment solution. The company claims that the insecticide will help farmers at the crop management and that it is the right technology to control caterpillars at the reproductive stage of soybeans, the toughest time to control. Its high potential and differentiated action mode make Avatar® a fundamental tool for the caterpillar management on rotation with other insecticides.
The Demarcor® seeds treatment is recommended to treat soybean against the corn earworm on soybeans. The company's marketing leader in Brazil, André Moraes, highlights that Dermarcor® is highly efficiency because it acts on the initial plant stage with excellent maintenance of crop stand. The product was launched on over 3 million acres in Brazil last summer.
DuPont Crop Protection also presented at the event its Soybean Program, a new technological concept to control plagues and preventive management of diseases on crops based on the delivery to farmers through of products such as Aproach® Prima (fungicide), Dermacor® (seed treatment), Avatar®, Prêmio® and Lannate® (insecticides); Accent®, Ally® and Classic® (herbicides).
DuPont Pioneer yet concentrates on specific technologies for silage, corn, and soybeans. The company showcases the corn hybrids P1630H, 32R22YHR, 32R48YH, P2530, 30F53YH, P3161H and 30B39HR, with a big highlight for the new P3456H, an early cycle hybrid, which are all recommended to be planted in the south of Brazil (both grains and silage).
Du Pont Pioneer says that they will talk about management practices aimed to a maximum productive potential of corn and soybeans, involving mostly the efficient control of weeds, insects and plagues.
