Rotam launches new fungicide Glider in Brazil
Date:03-11-2015
Rotam, the Hongkong based agchem company, has recently launched in the Brazilian market its new fungicide Glider 720 SC (chlorothalonil 720 g / L), which was claimed by the company capable of combating prevalent diseases on crops such as potatoes, tomatoes, kidney beans and peanuts.
"Glider 720 SC is a product with a formula that combines quality and technology to meet the global market needs, and deliver to Brazilian producers an efficient and trustworthy control of diseases." highlights regional sales and marketing manager at Rotam Brasil, Matheus Botelho.
Yet, according to Botelho, diseases are one of the top problems faced by Brazilian farmers, mostly when the fungus proliferates rapidly over the crops and becomes hard to control. "Glider 720 SC is a fungicide of wide spectrum contact which, when applied correctly, allows a better prevention at the vegetative phase as well as on the reproduction of crops, exactly when the plant is more susceptible to diseases".
Glider 720 SC comes to the market for controlling the disease such as Late leaf Spot (peanut), Angular leaf spot (kidney beans), the potato blight (Phytophthora infestans) and the early blight of tomato. "The crops treated with Glider 720 SC have become more resistant to diseases, bringing strength for the plant and obtaining better yields," says Botelho.
