Canada to approve Syngenta's sedaxane seed treatments
Date:03-05-2015
The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has proposed the full registration for the sale and use of Syngenta's fungicide seed treatments Vibrance 500FS(sedaxane) and Vibrance XL Seed Treatment (sedaxane, difenconazole and metalaxyl-m) to be used on various crops to control or suppress soil and seed-borne diseases of seedlings and mature plants. The Agency has opened the public comments until April 11, 2015.
Sedaxane is a fungicide with systemic properties, and it inhibits the normal respiration process in target pathogenic fungi. The sedaxane-based products are used on seed from various crops to control or suppress soil and seed-borne diseases of seedlings and mature plants.
