Adama launches technology to diagnose pests, diseases, and weeds‏

Adama has just launched in Brazil an application "Adama Alvo" that identifies pests, diseases and weeds on corn, wheat, cotton, and soybean crops. Through a photo database, the software allows a comparison and identification of targets over crops. Available for the systems of iOS and Android, Adama Alvo offers the possibility of taking a photo and sending for a technical analysis in the company.
"Creating simplicity in agriculture through digital technologies is the goal of the Innovation department at Adama Brasil," said Roberson Marczak, the innovation manager. "We seek to develop digital services which, combined with our other products, that become integral solutions for our customer," adds the Adama executive.
The company also introduced the application "Adama Clima" with the meteorological service station that can be installed in the property and provides weather forecast for micro-region. The system also stores historical data of precipitation and temperature.
