Staphyt acquires Agrobiocontrol

French contract research organisation (CRO) Staphyt has acquired Italian CRO Agrobiocontrol. The Italian company is GEP and GLP accredited.The development of STAPHYT´s geographic coverage continues, and the acquisition reinforces Staphyt’s position in southern Europe, the company said.

STAPHYT Italy will be operational in two locations: one in the Latina region (between Rome and Naples) and one in the North of Italy (Verona area). From spring 2015, STAPHYT Italy will be able to establish trials in all the main agricultural and climatic areas of Italy.
