Date:12-10-2014
On December 11th, INCOTEC will open a new subsidiary in Argentina. INCOTEC’s business in Argentina is growing strongly and the decision to start producing locally will better serve the local market.
INCOTEC Argentina is located in Pergamino, Buenos Aires, in the heart of Argentina’s seed industry. The company will initially have a strong focus on the production and sale of very sophisticated coatings for large acre crops to the local seed industry. In the coming years, INCOTEC is expected to introduce new and very innovative seed enhancement technologies and products that are new to Argentina. INCOTEC Argentina will be led by Mr. Francisco Serra, a veteran in the seed industry, who, for the last 3 years, was plant manager at Tecnoseeds, an important Argentinean seed processing service company. Besides local production, INCOTEC Argentina will also have a local product development and technical support team to bring optimal services and products to the local market.
Mr. Vrolijk, General Manager of INCOTEC South America, indicates: “The opening of this facility is the result of more than 10 years of experience in selling our products to the Argentinean market. We believe that it is an essential step to better serve our customers. Being able to produce locally with a local team will allow us to focus on the needs and demands of the Argentinean growers to get more out of their crops”.
INCOTEC Group’s Senior Executive Member of the Board, Mr. JanWillem Breukink, states: “INCOTEC recognizes Argentina as one of the most important agricultural countries in the world. Our company is constantly looking for ways to help growers all over the world to get more out of their crops and to increase their income by developing and introducing very sustainable and innovative seed enhancement technologies. INCOTEC is well known for its consistent high quality products and we hope that our innovations will contribute to the further growth and development of the agribusiness in Argentina”.
