Syngenta introduces Elatus for peanuts in Argentina
Date:12-04-2014
Syngenta has launched fungicide Elatus in Argentina. The fungicide will be used for the protection of peanut crops for leaf spot diseases. ELATUS is a combination of Syngenta’s new SDHI chemistry SOLATENOL™ and AMISTAR®. This formula does not have cross-resistance with strobilurins and triazoles, and was introduced to farmers, experts, technicians, peanut distributors. According to experts, the big pressure of the diseases on peanuts commonly forces three or more spray applications. In the last season, this pressure was extremely high and some lots had a really bad control.
The new product, Elatus, was launched for the soybean crops in Paraguay and Bolivia during the 2012-2013 season. This year, it was introduced in Brazil. In Argentina, it is the first introduction in the world for peanut crops.
