China approved 31 pesticide ais registrations in January 2014

The Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) has approved the registrations of 31 pesticide active ingredients in January, 2014 (excluding the renewal of registration), covering 11 herbicides, 8 insecticides, 9 fungicides, 1 nematicide and 2 acaricides.
 
In terms of registration type, there are 31 formal registrations (5-year validity). Two of them are only for export and Quinmerac is registered for the first time.
