Bayer debuts Musketeer in Portugal‏

Bayer CropScience announced in Portugal the launch of its new herbicide Musketeer, which is designed for olive groves management. The production has an OD formulation and contains active substances diflufenican (150 g/l) and lodosulfuron-methyl sodium (10g/l).
"Beyond a comprehensive spectrum and flexibility when spraying, Muskeeter allows a superior control of some species difficult to manage, such as Conyza spp." Noted by engineers Avelino Balsinhas and Javier Perez, who are responsible for the introduction of this new Bayer solution.
The new product was introduced in an event in the city of Évora (Portugal) with the present of nearly a hundred agents linked to olive and crop protection, among them are distributors, technicians, and farmers. Bayer presented lectures about "The weed of groves in Portugal" and the growing problems of "Resistance of Weeds".
