Rallis India sales up 7% in Q2 2014-2015

Rallis India posted a sales increase of 6.6% to Rs 635.94 crore in the second quarter ended September 30th 2014. Net profit saw a flat at Rs 72.84 crore. For the first six month of fiscal 2014-2015, sales grew by 9.5% to Rs 1,101.28 crore, while net profit up by 8.6% to Rs 115.25 crore.

Rallis India Managing Director and CEO V Shankar said, "I am pleased that we have recorded good performance across our business segments despite the erratic South-West monsoon this kharif. The long drought like spell followed by heavy rains in certain areas did not augur well for the normal cropping pattern affecting yields and farm incomes."
