Chinese agrochemical industry deputies visit Bioagri in Brazil

A committee comprised of Chinese representatives from major agchem industry visited Agrochemical business unit of Bioagri – a Mérieux NutriSciences Company, in Piracicaba last month. The purpose of the event was to introduce representatives to the services provided in agchem registration analysis in Brazil, as well as the company's facilities, which is a world reference for the segment.
The group attended the largest agchem industry trade show in São Paulo. Altogether, the 14 professionals from eight major Chinese companies visited the laboratory responsible for the analysis and studies for registration and quality control. The attendance also includes Luis Fernando Maida, CEO of Bioagri Group for Brazil and Latin America, the directors and specialists in various areas of the company, and Mr. Tulio de Oliveira, executive director of AENDA - Brazilian Association of Generic Pesticides, who presented the national agchem market.
"By knowing the lab’s infrastructure and technology, visitors could understand how Bioagri´s analyses can ensure the quality and safety of agchem to be registered and used on crops in Brazil," says the foreign trade consultant Luana Sousa.
"China's interest in investing in Brazil is very huge, since our country is one of the strongest in the agricultural area," says Edivan Tonhi, technical director of Bioagri Agrochemicals Unit.
