Everris to build facility in China

Everris International B.V. (formerly Scotts Global Pro), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Israeli-based ICL, recently revealed that the company plans to build a facility in Qingdao, China, to boost the sales of specialty fertilizers up to Yuan 2 billion in six years. ICL acquired Scotts Global Pro in 2011, and merged Scotts with its own Specialty Fertilizer department to establish Everris.
As the inventor of controlled-release-fertilizer, Everris holds the world’s top technologies in controlled-release-fertilizer. The performance of its products is not affected by climate, soil types, and application methods. One of the coated controlled-release-fertilizer, Osmocote Pro 12 –14M has a fixed longevity up to 18 months.
The Everris’ products are helpful in alleviating fertilizer problems currently faced by China, including the excessive fertilizer application, low utilization rate, and soil pollution. The foliage fertilizer Agroleaf was launched in China in 2007, and has received a strong brand influence in provincial area of Yunnan, Shangdong, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Hainan. The company expects to launch this products, as well as water soluble fertilizers, in the whole market regions of China.
