Ex-Cheminova CEO to Lead Albaugh

Albaugh LLC Chairman Dennis Albaugh has announced that Kurt Pedersen Kaalund joined the company as the new group chief executive officer, effective on August 1.

 

This new position is “to lead the future success of the business,” Albaugh said. Kaalund served as president and CEO of Danish crop protection company Cheminova A/S from 2008 to 2013.

 

Albaugh had announced an agreement with Chinese company Huapont-Nutrichem Co. Ltd, saying Huapont-Nutrichem will invest in and acquire 20% of the voting units and non-voting units of Albaugh for an aggregate cash consideration of US $220 million.
