As El Nino fears recede and hopes for better rains rise, crop protection maker Rallis India launch three new products this fiscal. Its third product named Hunk was launched on Monday. Hunk is an insecticide to control sucking pests in paddy, also has phytotonic qualities that enhance overall crop health, besides combating pests.
The company had launched two products earlier this year, including Origin (insecticide + fungicide combo) and Duton (herbicide). Both products should enhance revenues from FY2016 onwards.
“In the pipeline are two insecticide and one fungicide for this year. These will be a mix of technologies sourced from overseas and developed in-house,” KR Venkatadri, chief operating officer, said.
