Sipcam agrochem sales up 12% in 2013

Sipcam-Oxon posted an 11.7% increase in agrochemical sales to €377 million ($513.4 million at the current rate) in 2013. Chemical intermediates reached €18.2 million ($24.8 million), while fertilizers was up to €10.2 million ($13.9 million), making the company’s total sales amounted to €405.4 million ($552.1 million).
Herbicide is the largest category, with sales increased by 5.4% to €139.4 million ($189.8 million). Ranked the second, fungicide sales grew by 11.6% to €135.5 million ($184.5 million), while insecticide sales was up by 8.4% to €85.2 million ($116 million).
Geographically, Europe account for 57% of the sales, reached to €230.4 million ($313.8 million), followed by North America, south America and rest of the world, with respective sales of €80 million ($108.9 million), €71 million ($96.7 million), and €24 million ($32.7 million).
