Date:06-03-2014
Kleffmann Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Bob Fairclough as the new team leader for Kleffmann Group’s newly established agricultural input market trend information and consulting unit amis® AgriGlobe®.
Dr. Fairclough started with Kleffmann Group at the beginning of June 2014. In this new position he is responsible for leading a team of researchers and data analysts in the development of a comprehensive portfolio of information products to address the diverse needs of Kleffmann’s client base. This includes initially overseeing the final stages of the amis® AgriGlobe® database and in the medium term directing the development of a range of products to complement and support the new unit. amis® AgriGlobe® is the first of a suite of products to be launched from the new Agricultural Market Trend Information & Consulting Division – “AgMarket Insights”.
Prior to joining the Kleffmann Group, Dr. Fairclough spent over 20 years in the International Business Intelligence and Market Research support industry; most recently with the responsibility of developing AMIS Global.
“The appointment of Dr. Fairclough as team leader will enhance our capabilities within the “AgMarket Insights” division and will strengthen the Kleffmann Group’s position as the global reference for agricultural market information. At a time when the agricultural business sector is evolving into a broader more sophisticated area, he brings to the company significant experience in data analysis at both a B2B industry level as well as at the farm level; an ideal combination for developing insights and client-focused solutions. This is a great opportunity for us to generate synergies between our detailed farmer-based research and industry-wide insights”, explains Burkhard Kleffmann, CEO of Kleffmann Group.
