ISO approves 4 new pesticide common names

The ISO Technical Committee on Common Names for Pesticides has provisionally approved 4 new active ingredients common names in April 2014, according to the Compendium of Pesticide Common Names (CPCN). They are fluhexafon, tetraniliprole, tolpyralate and trifludimoxazin.
Fluhexafon is a novel insecticide from Sumitomo Chemical, being developed under the code S-1871.
Bayer CropScience has received provisional ISO approval for a diamide insecticide tetraniliprole, being developed under the code BCS-CL73507.
Tolpyralate is a benzoylpyrazole herbicide from Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, being developed under the code SL-573.
BASF SE has gained the provisional ISO approval for a triazinone herbicide trifludimoxazin.
