ECHA consults on two fungicide CLHs

ECHA has opened a public consultation on the proposals for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) of benzovindiflupyr and pencycuron.

France has proposed that benzovindiflupyr is classified as acute toxic 3 and aquatic acute 1. Stakeholders can provide input on various aspects of the proposal including physical, environmental and health hazards (except respiratory sensitisation). The substance is currently proposed as a fungicide active ingredient.

The Netherlands has put forward a proposal to classify the fungicide, pencycuron, as aquatic chronic 1.

The consultation for both proposals will end on 13 June.
