TMSC(fluxapyroxad + pyraclostrobin), both focused on the soybean crop. The first is the newest of the insecticide portfolio, released earlier this month and created for the control of major bugs in soybean.
Already Orkestra
TMSC(fluxapyroxad + pyraclostrobin), first presented at the event, is the first fungicide released in the market for the control of major diseases of soybeans, which has the active ingredient fluxapyroxad, new molecule registered after 10 years of the emergence of Asian Soybean Rust in Brazil. Because it is a new active ingredient, the product acts actively in the respiratory system of fungi and aids in resistance management. The product also got to record another six diseases: Leaf spot (
Corynespora cassiicola), Brown patch (
Septoria ghycines), leaf blight (
Cercospora kikuchii), powdery mildew (
Erysiphe diffusa), Rhizoctonia solani and anthracnose (
Colletotrichum truncatum). In addition, the fungicide also integrates AgCelence ® Soy, responsible for improving the efficiency of the plant providing the best transformation ratio of water, light and nutrients into energy and grains. The formulation contains active ingredient F500® which provides an increase of 10% in the crop production.
Another novelty which was presented is the Pirate® insecticide, which recently obtained the emergency registration for use in controlling the caterpillar
Helicoverpa armigera on soybean and cotton crops. The product has translaminar action, because when applied on the upper surface of a leaf exerts its action against insects including those living on the interior side of the leaf, and has an excellent shock effect, have residual control.
BASF also demonstrated AgCelence System® Corn."The technology enables the best conversion ratio of water, light and nutrients into energy and, with it, increases productivity and grain quality, in addition to providing profitability", said José Roberto Louzado Junior, Marketing Manager of the Crop Protection unit of BASF.
The management system that covers products Standak® Top, which has a dual function: insecticide and fungicide, and Abacus® HC fungicide. The combined treatment is oriented to the control of major diseases and pests that affect the seeds and seedlings of corn, beyond the control of Polysora rusts, and Phaeosphaeria leaf spot leaving healthier, more productive plants, which provides a better grain yield and higher profitability to the farmer.
Services
During the Parecis Superagro, BASF presented a service: Smart Solution Spray. This is a consultancy to farmers to provide certification for equipment usage. The tool will ensure better application of pesticides, as it acts on three pillars of sustainability: social, environmental and economic. In addition, the visitors met Digilab Mobile Tablet and AgroDetecta. The first is a technology used to assist farmers to identify symptoms of major diseases, pests and weeds in different cultures through the aid of a digital microscope. The goal of this new version is to offer greater mobility and interactivity to the user.
Already AgroDetecta is a climate monitoring service that supports producers through a network of more than 250 stations spread in 10 Brazilian States. These stations indicate the best time for the conducting pest control and reducing the spread of diseases in different crops.
