ICAMA to complete above 30 pesticides registrations for minor use

The Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) recently announced that ICAMA will start to make effort to promote new administration measures in 2014 with respect to characteristic pesticide application, high-toxic pesticide, authorized dealership, and pesticide market supervision.
Shan Weili, the chief of pesticide administration division of ICAMA, said that in 2014 ICAMA will make effort to release the Vegetable & Characteristic Crop-Targeted Pesticide Registration Ad Hoc Regulation and will support registrations of above 30 pesticides for minor crops.
The specific measures will include formulation of incentive mechanism for minor use pesticides registrations, encouragement of enterprise’s registration of extended scope, support to special pesticide registration trial, as well as to guide enterprises to conduct allied special trials.
ICAMA also announced that new measures with respect to high-toxic pesticide dealership and pesticide market supervision will be released in 2014.
