Jiangsu Changqing Agrochemical sales up 23% in 2013

Chinese agrochemical enterprise Jiangsu Changqing Agrochemical in sales recorded a 23.4% increase to Yuan 1.56 billion ( $251.0 million at the current rate) in 2013. Of which domestic sales rose 44.7% to Yuan 599 million($96.4 million at the current rate) ,accounting for 38% of the total sales; export improved 13.4% to Yuan 963 million($155.0 million at the current rate), representing for 62%.
The announcement has revealed a strong market demand for herbicide represented by fomesafen and the insecticide represented by imidacloprid. Since its Nantong Subsidiary was brought on stream in H2 2013, dicamba has been in a robust demand.
As regards to new product and patent development, the company has developed totally 23 new products and new technologies, supported by an R & D spending of Yuan 63.9 million($10.3 million), contributing to 4.1% of the business income. The company has currently obtained 11 invention patents and utility model patents while another 25 patents are being filed.

Top 20 Chinese Agrochemical Enterprises of AGROPAGES 2012; the company is planning to achieve its business income of Yuan 1.88 billion($302.5 million at the current rate) in 2014, to be 20.17% up year on year.
