US to approve AgBiTech's insecticide Heligen

The US EPA has proposed to approve AgBiTech’s manufacturing-use pesticide product Helicoverpa Zea ABA Nucleopolyhedrovirus-U and an end-use pesticide product Heligen based on the active ingredient Helicoverpa Zea ABA Nucleopolyhedrovirus-U. In addition, Heligen is proposed for use as an insecticide to be applied by ground or aerial spray or by chemigation to food and non-food crops and ornamentals. The public comments have been opened until Feb 26,2014.
