Bayer CropScience provides integrated solutions in Brazil

Bayer CropScience recently presented its integrated crop handling solutions during Showtec 2014, Brazil.
Bayer CropScience had a very technical agenda, with lectures made experts, such as DinailsonCorreia de Campos, from Fermentec consulting company, who spoke to the public about the importance of fighting sugarcane pests that affect the quality of the raw material delivered to plant. The ESALQ/USP professor, Dr. ValterBarbieri, brought the frost theme and its impacts on sugarcane, and Professor Dr. Marcos Fava Neves, from FEA - USP, provided information about economic trends and medium-term vision for agribusiness in Brazil.
"Sugarcane producers had the opportunity to talk to experts about the cultivation of sugarcane, and they still rely on an exclusive space where they can learn about Bayer technologies. In our booth, sugarcane producers had access to the main trends for the plant protection, technologies available for this culture and informational videos with guidelines on the how to handle major pests," said Antonio Soares, Sugarcane Market Development Agronomist from Bayer CropScience.
The company also showed its solutions such as FOX® fungicides for soybean crops, and Native® for maize. Also, it featured an exclusive space for sugarcane cultivation, which presented Ethrel® and Evidence® technologies that can help increase the stand of sugarcane seedlings sprouting -, and Curbix® insecticide - used for protection handling against leafhoppers in the roots.
