Multinationals received 80 new pesticide registrations in China in 2013(Herbicide Part)

In 2013, the major multinational agrochemical companies have received 80 new pesticide registrations compared with 67 registrations of 2012 (including temporary and formal registrations), as per
the statistics of China Pesticide Registration Watch.
The registered pesticides cover 25 herbicides, 17 insecticides, 29 fungicides and 5 plant growth regulators (PGRs), 2 acaricides and 2 biopesticides. Syngenta gained the largest number of registrations with 16 products, followed by FMC (13), BASF (11), Dow AgroSciences (9) respectively.
