FMC promotes Ekins to fungicide and insecticide portfolio manager

FMC Agricultural Solutions has announced the promotion of Rick Ekins to the newly created role of portfolio manager for fungicides and insecticides. In his new position, Ekins will manage long-term strategic direction for fungicide and insecticide products across all crop segments and lead introduction of new active ingredients.

"Rick is a great fit because of his ability to focus on the big picture, even when day-to-day responsibilities make that difficult," said Aaron Locker, FMC Agricultural Solutions North America marketing director. "He understands both retailer and grower needs for new product solutions that exceed their expectations."

A 13-year employee of FMC with extensive experience in the North American Crop (NAC) division, Ekins' most recent role was as a senior product manager. In this position, he led fungicide sales efforts for the tree fruit and vegetable segment. He has also worked in multiple other crop and non-crop related roles with FMC, including helping to lead NAC branding strategy.
