FMC Debuts EndZone Insecticide Stickers
Date:11-14-2013
The new EndZone Insecticide Sticker from FMC Corporation gives pest managers a quick and long-lasting solution for adult filth flies as well as another revenue-generating tool for food handling, commercial and residential accounts.
The EndZone Insecticide Sticker, available beginning January 2014, will provide knock-down of filth files in less than one minute after contact, with up to seven months residual action indoors and four months of residual action outdoors, when protected from rain, excess moisture, dirt, dust, and filth, FMC reports. EndZone is powered by a patented formulation of acetamiprid and an insect food source on a four-and-one-quarter inch square sticker that can be applied on windows, under counters, behind equipment, in or around trashcans, near floor drains and other surfaces where flies congregate. EndZone can be used both indoors and outdoors in residential and commercial settings, and fits into many different service programs.
“EndZone is designed for placement near breeding and aggregation sites, providing pest management professionals with residual adult filth fly control in the most challenging commercial situations,” said Steve Mora, product manager for FMC. "With EndZone, you can provide a fast and easy-to-apply solution that provides months of control. Plus, it's an easy way to generate more revenue and provide more robust service."
The EndZone Insecticide Sticker can be used to kill houseflies, little house flies, blow flies, bottle flies, flesh flies, phorid flies, fungus gnats, and vinegar (fruit) flies. No odors, fumes or vapors are released upon activation. To use, place stickers on windows, near light sources, inside cabinets or other surfaces where flies congregate, including any commercial trash areas, kitchens and food storage areas. One sticker per 1,000 cubic feet is recommended, though more stickers can be used for heavier infestations.
