MBI sales up 82% in Q3 2013

The US biopesticide company, Marrone Bio Innovations (MBI), posted a 82.4% increase in sales to $1.346 million in the third quarter ended Sep 30, 2013. Product sales rose by 91.1% to $1,265 million and licensing revenues increased by 6.6% to$81,000. Additional product sales of $770 thousand were delivered to customers with extended payment terms and recorded as deferred revenues, the company notes. Nine months revenues substantially boosted by 102% to $8,576 million.

For the full year 2013, the Company expects net revenues to more than double compared to the full year 2012, including expected deferred revenues.
