Australia to approve DuPont's Exirel insecticide cyantraniliprole

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed to approve DuPont ’s Exirel insecticide containing the active ingredient cyantraniliprole, for use on cotton to control certain sucking and chewing insects—silverleaf whitefly, cotton aphid, cotton bollworm and native budworm. The Agency has opened the public comments until Nov 5, 2013.
Cyantraniliprole is an advanced benzamides insecticide firstly developed by Dupont. It has been approved registrations in multiple countries such as Canada, US, China, India and etc..
