BASF India to build new agricultural research station

BASF India has announced that it plans to set up a new Agricultural Research Station in Lonikand near Pune. The Company has taken on lease approximately 30 acres of Agricultural land at Lonikand near Pune for a period of 20 years.

The Agricultural Research Station will be used to test new agro chemical compounds on agricultural crops and to examine their efficacy under local climatic conditions.
