In 2012, the world’s top ten agrochemical companies all gained solid dollar-based sales growth of pesticides business, and Monsanto, Sumitomo Chemical and FMC archived double-digit growth. Ranking of top nine companies of 2012 has not changed comparing with the year of 2011. Number ten company in the list of 2011, United Phosphorus Limited (UPL), didn’t hold this position in 2012’s ranking with pesticide sales of approximately $1.6 billion. On the contrary, the number eleven company in 2011, FMC, got the tenth place in the 2012’s list with pesticides sales reaching $1.764 billion.
